This month's news: The Indoor Fun Fly's are going well, the new gym at the Miller Center is much larger than the previous one. Check out the videos and pics on our website.
This month's meeting is Wednesday at the Essex Junction Police station.

Dues are Due!
Reminder: Club dues have changed. Regular member dues are now $50/yr, Senior member dues are now $35/yr, and Junior and non-flying member dues are now $15/yr.
You can pay at the meeting, or send Fred Towler a check to the address below. We are also setting up a PayPal account for the club to make it even more convenient, more information later!

Green Mountain R/C Club President's Message

President's Message,
April 2011

Is spring really here? I hope so! Which brings up the topic of a date to have the annual field day. Typically this consists of moving the shed, doctoring up any ruts in the parking area, patching up the runway if necessary and of course some flying. Last year it was May 1^st.. Looking at the calendar April 30^th falls on a Saturday and we can certainly shoot for that although let’s all discuss what works best during the meeting. We certainly could do it earlier assuming the road and field are dried out.

Tony and Jason have been working hard with testing motors for the contest plane and they should have some more information shortly. Tony also mentioned the rules and regulations will be complete soon as well.

I hope everyone is as excited as me to get back on track and enjoy some stick time in the sunshine!

Hey all,

Almost all done testing, thanks to Jason he found three more motors that could help the cause. He is currently (today) testing them. We should have the answers this meeting or the following week.

Rules and Regs will also be handed out, and posted at the same time.
